Hello, dear reader! I have always been fascinated with storytelling. For the vast majority of my life, I have been working on one tale or another. While writing has always been a passion of mine, I went to school for film at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. When I wasn’t making short films or toying with ideas for novels, I was drawing comics or making fiction podcasts. However, at the end of the day, writing is king when it comes to all forms of storytelling, and so that is what I focus on.

It should come as no surprise that I am a lifelong science fiction fan. Star Wars slightly edges out Star Trek for me, but that really depends on the movie or series that we’re talking about. For the record, my favorite film of the OT is A New Hope, slightly edging out Empire. As for Kirk vs. Picard? It’s a trick question. The correct answer is Sisko. Otherwise I prefer TNG on the small screen and the TOS cast on the big screen. First Contact is a guilty pleasure, but The Undiscovered Country is probably my favorite of the Trek films. You can never go wrong with Wrath of Khan, though.

I am very much an indoor person and an introvert, so most of my hobbies can be done from the comfort of my cave. True to type, my favorite hobbies include playing video games, watching movies, and either running or playing tabletop RPGs. I also enjoy board games, as I’ve found there is quite an incredible selection out there. When gaming, I prefer the strategic or tactical genres. Add in some political intrigue, and you’ve got an Evan game right there.

Otherwise, I’m just keeping on keeping on. Plugging away at bringing this weird time-warping vision to life. So until next time, stay strong!
