Evan J Kuder Home - Author of Time Gate
Two intersecting rings stand nearly twenty feet tall. Suspended inside them is a glowing passageway. Step through, and you’ll be transported to another world…
At key moments in history, everything can change. At these flashpoints, time travelers called “timeless” can influence events. But they don’t change the future, they create a new one. A new timeline. And across these timelines, a war is raging.
Anarakia, a group of ruthless timeless, is committed to exploiting as many flashpoints as possible. By creating more and more timelines, they create more opportunities to manipulate the unaware populace for their own personal gain. Opposing them are the forces of Time Peace, an outnumbered group of timeless sworn to defend history as it was.
And their newest recruits are eighteen-year-old runaway Kennedy Frost and his best friend Blake Anthony. And they’ll prove more important to the fight than anyone could imagine…
Another timeline, another world.
Off the east coast of the United States, nestling up to the pocket between the Carolinas and Florida, is the island nation of Aechyr (pronounced “acre”). But the once peaceful kingdom is approaching a crisis. A nation that prides itself in fighting monsters may now be breeding them.
Anti-monarchy sentiment, fueled by the machinations of Anarakia, is simmering just below the surface. Meanwhile, the Queen is ill, and her heir is missing. If Anarakia is to be prevented from causing a crisis, the missing princess must be found.
Fortunately for Kennedy and Blake, there is a chance she is attending the prestigious Aechyr Academy, where they are already undercover. If she is there, and if she is open to reason, there is hope she can steer her country back onto the right path. If not, Aechyr may find a whole new breed of monster to fight.
Eighteen-year-old Kennedy Frost ran away from home. His loyal best friend, Blake Anthony, followed him. But before they could figure out where they were going, they were recruited into Time Peace.
If only things remained that simple. Ever since stepping through the time gate, Kennedy has been having horrible dreams. Visions of storming a beach alongside marines. To him, they feel like vivid memories. But that’s not possible. Kennedy is no marine, and he certainly never went into battle.
As Kennedy searches for answers, Blake focuses on their assignment: become Time Peace agents. It’ll take perseverance, skill, and a lot of practice to get up to snuff. But Kennedy and Blake might not get the time they need.
Kennedy has the determination and strength, Blake has the intelligence and vision. They’ll need each other to survive, but there are many distractions to pull them off course…
Time Peace and Anarakia are locked in a seemingly endless conflict. Anarakia seeks to control and exploit as many versions of Earth as possible. Time Peace’s main goal is to stop them, and let history play out naturally.
Ironically, their greatest ally in the fight is Anarakia itself. Anarakia is in reality a loose alliance of several factions, many of whom jealously compete with each other.
There is a way, however, for every wing of Anarakia to get what they want. By splitting the timelines at flashpoints, they create enough worlds for all of their cruel designs. But flashpoints are rare events, and Anarakia is not unopposed.
Time Peace can subtly alter the timelines so that a flashpoint won’t occur. This could take years of setup, involving influencing important figures, or carefully changing factors on the world stage. While it is a sacrifice of their principles, it is often less bloody than a direct confrontation.

With the heir to the throne missing and a revolution simmering just below the surface, that moment draws near for the island nation of Aechyr. And eighteen-year-old Kennedy Frost may be the only one to save it.
Kennedy was just a runaway when he was recruited by Time Peace. Their mission: stop the evil conspiracy called Anarakia from dominating the timelines. And just as he sets foot on Aechyr, Anarakia sets their sights on it. Now Kennedy eagerly thrusts himself into his first mission while still trying to survive his superspy training.
Because Kennedy and his fellow trainees may not be the only ones undercover at the prestigious Aechyr Academy. Hiding in plain sight at the college may be none other than the princess who renounced the crown years before. If Kennedy can find her, she could bring stability back to the nation. Or it could all be useless against the grand machinations of Anarakia. Kennedy will have to learn the game fast, or it’ll all be lost. The moment he chooses between playing by the rules and being a hero will change more than one world.
